An Angel's Love is a non-profit organization to provide parents of preemies with some comfort during a very difficult time. The goal of the project is to donate preemie items to area hospitals. These items include handmade hats and blankets for all preemies and loss kits for the preemies who don't make it. Please see our donations page for a list of items we donate.

An Angel's Love.org had it's first fundraiser on Saturday, February 4th, 2012. Thank you to all of the wonderful donors who helped in making our first benefit such an amazing success!

Special thanks to: Cheryl and the entire cast of The Mystery Game, Pub 511, Tom Covely, Melissa Ippolito with Little Dipper Gift Baskets, Goodness Cakes, Spencer Stremich with DJ Spencer Productions, Jennifer & Steven Smith, Holly Keys and Denise Knapp with Bead-n-Maile, Karen Munson, and Eva Williams with Mary Kay.

We had over 70 guests attend the event and we raised over $1,500!! Your donations and support will allow us to expand into additional area hospitals in the this year as well as continue to provide our Angel Baby Kits, hats and blankets to the hospitals that we are already partnered with! THANK YOU FOR EVERYONE'S SUPPORT!!

What an exciting week it has been for us! We made our first donation to Highland Hospital on Thursday, September 29th. Hopefully you caught us on the news that evening, but in case you didn't, here are links to the stories:

Channel 8 - WROC (Correction: JennRose and Michelle did not make all of the items donated to the hospital, many were made by other generous donors)
Channel 9 - YNN Rochester (Correction: JennRose did not deliver at Highland)
Channel 10 - WHEC

Channel 13 (WHAM) also featured us as their "Bright Spot" that evening, but the feature is not posted on their website.

In addition, we attended the March of Dimes Nurse of the Year Awards Gala on Saturday, October 1st. We had a table set up with our materials and were able to make connections with a number of people in attendance.

From these two events, we have seen a lot more activity on our website and have received contact from a number of people interested in getting involved. We are so excited about this progress and look forward to sharing more soon!

We are gearing up now for our first donation to Strong Memorial Hospital (also known as University of Rochester Medical Center). We will post more information about this donation soon.

Today we will be making our first donation to Highland Hospital. We will be providing hats, blankets, and completed Angel Baby Kits. We are very proud of what we accomplished in the past 3 months with collecting donations. Thank you to our donors and supporters for making our first donation happen more quickly than we had hoped for!

We also have completed pamphlets, so please contact us via email or our phone number if you would like to have some to display or handout.

We are still gathering items for our first donation. We are getting very close. Here is a list of the items that we currently have none of:
- Cameras
- Forget-me-not seeds
- Baptism/Burial gowns
- Poetry book on loss
We also have only a couple of burial wraps and only a few knitted or crocheted blankets.
Thank you to everyone who has donated. We will be posting the names of all of our donors soon to give a proper thanks. We will continue to collect anything listed on our donations page that you would like to donate. If you have any questions, please contact us. Thank you again for all your support!

We are planning to make our first donation to Highland Hospital in early August. So far we have received a number of hats and blankets. We have some quilts on the way. Some bears for the Angel Baby Kits have also been purchased. We can still use more of everything. If you are interested in donating, please let us know, or just send us something - we will be happy to receive it! We will post specific requests for items as our needs become apparent.
